To celebrate the long bank holiday weekend we packed our tents and sleeping bags and made the journey up to Daresbury in Cheshire to party with the biggest DJ’s at the legendary Creamfields festival, the biggest and arguably the best dance festival in the UK.
7am on Saturday morning we queued up in the grizzly rain but were welcomed into the campsite by a lovely rainbow which we took to be a sign for an amazing festival ahead! Straight away we spotted plenty of fabulous fashion with the girls glamming up their wellies with bright playsuits, floral headwear and beautiful dresses.
After enjoying the sun as the day brightened up, the music started at 2pm and we hurried in to enjoy the electro delights of Dutch DJ Hardwell and the crazy king Steve Aoki, then welcomed the night and danced in the dark with sets from Deadmau5, Avicii and the legend that is Annie Mac.
We woke up Sunday to the sun desperate to shine through the clouds and by the late morning it had succeeded, meaning it was vest and shorts galore for the guys and tiny hotpants and colored crop tops for the gorgeous girls, both completed with the odd token bit of headwear, be it floppy hats, floral headbands or unique headdresses!
We kicked off the Sunday music time with Tommy Trash on the South Stage while it was still sunny then found our way to the electric sounds of Alesso before gearing ourselves up for the old school dance music hero Fatboy Slim. After hearing that one of our faves Tiesto couldn’t make it (sob) we were tempted to see Calvin Harris who stole the show and finished the festival with an impressive display of fireworks.
Below are some of our favourite looks from this year – which ones are your favourite?
