Chloe Sims pops into HQ…

…and whilst she was there we grabbed her thoughts on Essex fashion.

Tell us why you like

Its really reasonably priced, up to date and that combo allows me to stay on trend. Fashion changes so quickly and its hard to find retailers to keep up. does it well!

Who is your signature ‘look’?

I don’t follow ‘looks’ as such, but at the moment I’m loving the rock chic ‘look’ with custom jewellery and lots of leather, or the desperate housewives look with smart shift dresses – just depends how I’m feeling. Black always looks classy though.

High Street Girl or Designer Chic?

I’m high street through and through. I do have a few classic designer pieces though, I’m not a designer person. It wouldn’t matter if I didn’t have Louboutains, as I’ve done without them for the past 30 years!

Describe Essex Style

Its massive. Essex is such a large area, but everyone tries to be glamorous. A glamour look with big hair, big eyelashes – whether they can pull it off or not!

What about other areas of the UK?

Manchester has a really varied style I think, you can walk down the street and see rock chic and glam all in one street. Liverpool is great. It does glam bigger and better than Essex – we are very competitive with them over fashion!
