This months blogger shop curator Robin James of the utter gutter has given us a run down of his blogger shop loves and the boohooMAN AW14 collection, take it away Robin!
I’m going wild for the BoohooMAN AW14 collection. And I’m pretty sure you will too!
A diverse collection of print, texture and colour, it’s got my name and signature style all over it.
Working through the huge AW14 collection, I’ve picked out my top picks for the season, you can take a look at those here. Everything that I’ve chosen is interchangeable, so you don’t have to worry about only being able to wear something once.
Taking three of my top picks, I’ve given you a flavour of what can be done with these pieces. My ultimate fave is the grey swallow sweatshirt. It’s a fantastic fit and the graphic print is a really playful way to liven it up. Team with a pair of print chinos for the perfect colour and pattern clash, or go casual in jeans.
I’ve worn the sweater with these indigo stretch fit skinnies. They’re super-comfortable and versatile, being worn with boots, smart shoes or trainers. Skinny jeans are a definite wardrobe staple for me. Whatever your shape or size, they’ll help to define your silhouette and keep you looking on trend.
My final pick is this acid wash short sleeve shirt. I’ve got a major thing for acid wash and tie dye at the moment, so this is a more than welcome addition to my wardrobe. It can be worn buttoned to the top for a preppy look; or with capped sleeves and a popped collar for a more relaxed and chill vibe. I’m going to be wearing this well into winter, tucked neatly under a chunky knit, to help add a little more detail and excitement around my collar.
Since I picked out three of my favourite pieces, I’ve now just bought the tie dye joggers. They have the comfort of a pair of lounge pants, but they look like denim. It’s a pretty good secret to keep! And the best thing? A woman (who looked to cool for words) stopped me on the street to say, “I love your pants, mate”. Good one!
